Seven years ago, this week, this community was actually born as "Digital Dimension", an amateurishly designed Digimon fansite. A year before that, I started work on a Digimon fanfic. It was an on-and-off thing, and it was horribly written. Six chapters were published on my fanfiction.net account in 2003, and I had some more in the works, but they were lost in a hard drive crash. The fanfic started collecting dust afterward, until late last year, when I decided to rewrite it and improve on some things. Today, in honor of this seventh anniversary, I've published the first chapter of this fanfic, titled "Episode One". Note, for those who have poked through the Memory Chamber, that this is not the same fanfic that was on the site, though it will have some ties to it.

This fanfic is more of a side project for me, so I won't be working on it as much as, say, "Kitsurian Chronicles" and other things related to this site. Speaking of which, I'm going to be revamping the front page again once I get my old laptop back online (thanks, Sirus) when I get my main PC back online. I plan on putting both the stories on the front page so that they'll be easily accessible. Because, hey, there's not much else going on there, and I figure it would be the best content to put there.

Some of you may have already noticed that I have rearranged the RP section. I'm still working on that. I'm clearing out all the old RPs from there to make room for new ones, as well. And speaking of new RPs...Yes, the one I've been planning for eons will start *next week*.

Update: Seems the power adapter wasn't the problem on my laptop, but the supply itself. The laptop will require surgery, and since I don't have the resources for that, I will focus on bringing my main computer back online.
